Job Description

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Following the approved audit program

May be involved in planning phase and may be involved in developing the audit program.

Responsible for ensuring the performance of the audit in accordance with the audit program and budget and professional standards and for communicating any critical or potentially significant findings to audit manager or CAEE.

Prepare reports that reflect audits results and assurance that audit files support the findings and conclusions.

may lead the debriefing of auditees at the end of on-site fieldwork.

Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations

Obtain, analyze and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data, flowcharts etc

Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality and goal achievement

Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings

Maintain open communication with audit manager and CAEE

Conduct follow up audits to monitor management’s interventions

Engage to continuous knowledge development regarding sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards

He is responsible for the timely completion of the audit.

 

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

 

•Internal:

 

Reviews audit schedules to ensure that each area of the ARKAD is audited timely; initiates spot audits when necessary.

Ensures that audit procedures for automated systems are developed, including internal computer checks and balances as required.

Assists professionals by performing assigned audit verification tasks.

Prepares work papers, schedules and summaries.

Conducts detailed examination of cash receipts, disbursement vouchers and other documents to ascertain that transactions are properly supported and recorded.

 

•External:

 

Assist Audit Manager in oversees the coordination of the internal audit program with outside examiners and auditors.

Assist Audit Manager in oversees the ARKAD client’s guidelines compliances in the project management.
